Hello lovelies,
You'd be surprised at what you have in your home that could be used to create a lovely dry incense blend.
Have a look in your herbs & spice drawer.
Here I’ve used:
🌿Black pepper
🌿Sage
🌿Cardamom pods ( I’m going to open them up next time to get the seeds out)
🌿Rose petals
🌿Then added some frankincense essential oil
You could also try coriander, cinnamon, cloves, thyme, rosemary etc... & add in an essential oil or two ( any dried herb or spice that is fragrant could work well )
This dry blend is for your:
Oil burner (candle type)
Wood burner
Open fire
You can burn your dry incense blend on:
- your tea light oil burner. Place a few pinches of your blend into the dry dish of your oil burner.
- In a heat proof dish on top of a wood burner.
- on a charcoal incense disk
Hope you enjoy experimenting with some dry ingredients in your home to create an incense blend.
(never leave burning incense unattended & ensure good ventilation)
