Hi I'm Charli

As far back as I can remember I’ve had a love and affiliation for all things natural, nourishing, botanical and fragrant.

So, when in my teens my sensitive skin and psoriasis would
flare up at the sight of any shop-bought products, it felt intuitive and natural to start blending my own skincare.

I believed there had to be kinder, more effective alternatives to what was being offered, that worked with my body rather than against it.

I remember being completely amazed
with how positively my skin responded to my first facial oil blend, not only
transforming my skins appearance but more importantly how it felt.

This kickstarted what has become a life-long passion for
holistic approaches to health, to support myself and my family.

So in 2022, after years of encouragement
and positive feedback from friends and family (… plus many facial oil blends
later), Lore Botanicals launched, bringing my caring blends of botanical wisdom to the wider
world.

My intention is to create skincare
products that are natural, kind & nourishing. I strongly believe we all
deserve to feel as good as we can in our skin.

My career & life path has been colourful & varied - from
my time living abroad, the creativity and vision from my MA in Printmaking; the
compassion & knowledge of our physical bodies having worked as a midwife in
the NHS for over a decade; the raising of my 5 children or the more recent qualifying
as a holistic massage therapist - all bring knowledge and qualities that I feel
feed into what I bring to Lore Botanicals

Sustainability

  • I work to use 70%-90% organic ingredients in Lore Botanical
    Skin Care Products where possible. Ours teas are 100% organic. I recognise the
    importance and value of ‘with’ nature farming practices to support our planet,
    working to use products produced within the UK and Europe, to reduce carbon
    footprint and in accordance with stricter farming regulations.
  • Our teas come in 100% compostable
    pouches; Our labels, leaflets, cards and postal packaging are plastic free / environmentally
    friendly, so either from recycled paper or fully recyclable or compostable. Our
    skincare containers are all plastic free aside from the pipettes and pumps
    which I encourage people to keep and reuse, giving the option to buy these
    products with a simple aluminium lid.
